How to Clean and Maintain Your Timemore C5 ESP Pro

To ensure the longevity of your Timemore C5 ESP Pro and maintain the purest coffee flavor, regular cleaning is essential. Since this is a precision manual grinder with stainless steel burrs, you should never use water to clean the internal mechanism.

1. Daily Cleaning (After Every Use)

• After grinding, give the grinder a light tap to dislodge any remaining coffee grounds from the catch cup.

• Use the included cleaning brush to remove dust from the burrs and the exit point of the grinder.

2. Deep Cleaning (Once a Month)

• Disassemble: Carefully unscrew the adjustment dial and remove the inner burr and spring. Keep the parts organized so you can easily put them back together.

• Brush the Burrs: Use a stiff brush to clean the coffee oils and fine particles stuck between the teeth of the S2C 660 burrs.

• Wipe the Body: Use a dry microfiber cloth to wipe the aluminum body and the inside of the grounds container.

• Reassemble: Put the parts back in the reverse order and ensure the adjustment dial is tightened correctly.

Important Maintenance Tips:

• Keep it Dry: Water will cause the high-carbon steel parts to rust. If the exterior gets wet, dry it immediately.
